Do I need planning permission for a pergola or garden room?
Most pergolas don't need permission. Garden rooms usually fall under permitted development if they meet size and position rules — we help you understand which applies.
How long does a typical garden transformation take?
A complete transformation with fencing, hard landscaping, lighting and a feature like a pergola usually takes 4-8 weeks. Smaller projects (just a patio, say) take 1-2 weeks.
Do you do planting and soft landscaping?
We focus on the build side — the hard landscaping, structures, fencing and lighting. We can recommend trusted local landscape gardeners for planting design.
What's the best surface for a patio in Devon?
Porcelain is our most-recommended these days — extremely durable, doesn't fade, and stays cleaner than natural stone. Sandstone looks beautiful but does stain. We'll talk through trade-offs honestly.
Can you build a garden office?
